Kolten Paryzek, PA-C

About Mr. Paryzek

Kolten Paryzek was born in Williston, North Dakota. His small town upbringing helped foster a sense of community and a personable, easy-going demeanor with his patients. He went on to graduate Magna Cum Laude in Health Sciences from the University of North Dakota in 2015 before attending Pacific University’s Masters in Physician Assistant Studies in our very own Hillsboro, Oregon. Throughout his education, Kolten worked as a certified nursing assistant in nursing home and hospital settings. This experience developed a responsibility in helping others during their most joyous, as well as most difficult and vulnerable moments. 

While attending Pacific University, Kolten practiced in a wide range of clinical fields; including family, emergency, inpatient neurosurgery, and surgical medicines before graduating and devoting his work full-time to Summit Spine Institute in 2017, specializing in orthopedic spine medicine. He assists Dr. Sales in examination, diagnosis, and surgical treatment of spinal diseases and conditions. In addition to being a Physician Assistant, Kolten takes an active role in orthopedic spine research in order to deliver the best care possible to his patients.
